Located in Uljin County, Gyeongbuk Province, the housing complex for the KHNP Hanwool Headquarters’ 5th Sangrok Building focuses on creating a collective living environment that emphasizes community over mere functionality. Unlike the existing Hanwool housing clusters, which operate independently based on their period and type of construction, this plan introduces a unified concept for the entire complex. The site boasts an exceptional natural setting, flanked by Taebongsan Mountain and the East Sea. The fifth phase comprises three buildings, arranged to form an external spatial framework oriented toward a central gathering area, while the taller structures are positioned outward. This layout creates specialized units with sweeping views of the natural surroundings, presenting a multi-dimensional, integrated space that harmonizes the region, nature, and people.
