It should be noted that the Research Institute of Industrial Science and Technology (RIST) suggested the optimal structure, air conditioning and heating system, and design for the construction schedule solution for its old buildings while considering the budget of the demander. There were many old buildings on the campus, and the budget was limited. So, we needed various skills to make an economical and efficient plan possible in the design to construction stages while considering the research and educational activities of researchers. By applying an economical and efficient solution for systems that have passed their durable period, the plan was specialized for effective design while considering the budget, and with the best passive technology, we improved building energy consumption and prepared a pleasant facility environment.
