HUFS Seoul Campus Library Green Remodeling
HUFS Seoul Campus Library
Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Seoul Campus Library was completed in 1973. So, with green remodeling, we improved the energy performance of the building, which had low energy efficiency due to aging, and built vertical and horizontal extensions of the building to expand the space. As a result, the library was transformed into a smart library that can respond to changing times beyond traditional library functions. Thanks to the green remodeling interest support system of the LH Green Remodeling Center, the demander received 3% interest support on 2.82 billion won and it relieved the economic burden for financing. In addition, it played a social role in job creation by employing approximately 19,200 people over the 16-month construction period.
